The sweetness of a FRIDAY and the tartness of the fact the year is rushing by us. November is here everyone! It is the last of the roses for the year so in honor of this, we have decided to incorporate the beautiful flower in our recipe. Today's recipe is a sweet, ambrosial drink: strawberry rose-rosemary lemonade. It's super simple to make, taste delicious, and smells wonderful. TIME: 10 minutes
SERVES: about 3 people
INGREDIENTS -3 spoonfuls of monk fruit sugar (regular sugar will work too)
-1/2 cup of fresh rose petals
-1 1/2 cup of water
-6 large strawberries, diced
-1/4 bundle of fresh rosemary (about 2 tbsp of rosemary)
-3 cups of lemonade(you can make this by squeezing lemons and adding sugar of choice)
STEPS
Take a pot and boil your water and fresh rose petals and sugar.
After a minute or two, then add in the fresh rosemary.
Mix for about another minute before adding in the strawberries.
Let boil for 5 minutes, while stirring it.
Once the time is done, strain syrup you made into the lemonade container. You can either toss out the extras or you can let it boil in water for a few hours to make your house smell nice.
Add in the lemonade to the strawberry rose-rosemary syrup to create the full strawberry rose-rosemary lemonade.
Pour and enjoy!
